In Bob Quinn's recent visit to the Refuge, he caught this photo of a golden eagle, which was perched in the trees just past the Osprey Cam platform. Adult golden eagles can look very much like immature bald eagles, so we ran this photo by our volunteer golden eagle expert, and he confirmed the identity. The white bands on the tail helped aid in the identification.
Bob Quinn in una sua visita al Rifugio ha fotografato un'aquila reale vicino al nido dei falchi pescatori, un'aquila reale adulta può essere molto simile a un'aquila calva giovane, ma un esperto ha confermato l'identità . Le righe bianche sulla coda hanno aiutato
