Dear Nora, I'm sorry to say that from De Mortel on I did not watch the nests in Holland anymore. It is still a painful memory for me. Out of hope and law everybody has to ask to himself : when is it the right thing not to do any interference to natural course of life.. when yr country would not act against nature main part of it would be sea.. not a wonderful garden like it is actually... Laws are important but they are made from "imperfect" human beings and can easily be changed if the gouvernments and social situation changes... as human we have the consciousness that our actions and "non action" have a direct consequence.
Even if the tragedy of De Mortel has touched me so deeply I still think that yr country has an high level of democracy and civilisation, much more than we have here in Italy, and of course it is a country with an high level of culture... but what with simpaty and love??
To take the chicks from this nest and take them to another one seems to me not such a huge interference to natural life like to get from sea terrritory or from a forest a tulip field.
As I told you above I still have the highest respect for Holland and its inhabitants but I still think that what is happening now is wrong. Of course nobody of us has "the truth in his pocket", but this is what I really think without any aim to "outrage" you or anybody in Holland.. just what my heart (and my brain) suggests me..
So, forgive me for my english and my words.. What I just would like to say is : if you think that the law is not perfect and can be improved, you can act to ask for its modification, not just look what happens.. As your country has really a much higher level of democracy you have really the possibility to change something (what apparently does not happen here in Italy) if you try

Forse è questa la cosa più saggia.
Lo abbiamo imparato nel 2007.
Per quanto riguarda il comportamento della nuova femmina, praticamente identico a quello di S2 all'epoca, non ha niente di eccezionale, anzi. Lei considera le prede portate da Abe come omaggi dovuti, secondo le regole del corteggiamento.
Purtroppo a volte e questa è la parte più triste dell'esito delle battaglie territoriali che avvengono quando dei pulcini sono già nati.
Ricordo che lo scorso anno, quando Zeus è rimasto senza Hera nel momento critico per i piccoli, pur non essendoci nessuna femmina a richiedere le sue attenzioni, non ha potuto tenere in vita i suoi figli.
Con questa osservazione chiudo per parte mia l'argomento.

quando successe a de mortel facemmo petizioni su petizioni senza avere riscontri,ora la stessa situazione,non e' ipocrisia di chi non vede se non e' seguito da una cam ma proprio perche' siamo negli occhi del mondo e scegliamo di farlo con una cam dovremmo intervenire,altrimenti non si predispone un nido artificiale e non si mette una webcam.lo scorso anno
abbiamo avuto un'annata difficile qui ma siamo andati a recuperare e a supportare,non senza polemiche ma sicuri di aver fatto qualcosa per aiutare madre natura!
