Pa & Ma, i pellegrini dall'Olanda

...at 07:57 the intruding female entered briefly, stayed on the ledge for some minutes and left...

The intruding female stole away the food... the chicks didn't get a chance to get fed...

The strange female just did it again... give me some minutes to edit my images and post them...





I feel very sad... I need a big hug....

At 08:58 the stranger was back again... she entered the nest, looked for some food and when she left she bumped into Pa who just came with food for the chicks... as far as I could see both falcons ( Pa and the strange female) tumbled off the ledge together...

...at 09:01 Pa returned with the food, and started feeding the chicks...





...as far as I could see, all three chicks got a few bites...

...at 09:02 the stranger arrived... and yes...she took away the food again!





...the stranger leaves with the food...


...Pa leaves the nest at 09:03





I closed the webcam now... I've a lot of other things to do... but please, feel free to post images or observations...

Aleali, I saw Pa feeding the chicks between 10:54 and 11:19... than the strange female stole away the food again.
At least they had some kind of a meal...

We don't know what happened to Ma... but we expect there has been a battle between Ma and the intruder...
Ma has not been seen since last sunday...

oh what a bad, terrible news. Bud twice : one because if Ma was not seen there for two days having so small chicks there in the nest there is a high probability she did not overcome the fight And the other terrible thing is that Pa cannot grow up the chicken alone, they will beg more and more and the strange female is snapping his prey again and again... What do the byologist there intend to do for this? They could help and put food in thre to save the nest or take the chicks and put thema as foster chicks in a different nest... or whatelse I do not know. But I hope they would do something I dislike the way some purists insist we do not have to do something in such cases... I'm more on the side the byologist of Finland behaviour : he saved last year the two little eagles from panoorama nest from dead...............

it is made so much in order to preservare the species that would be absurd not to make something for the smalls...
I hope indeed that something of beautiful resolves this sad situation ...



si fa tanto per preservare la specie che ritengo assurdo non fare nulla per i piccoli!

sembrava grosso forse era l'intrusa.

io guardo ma li vedo soli... uno sull'altro.. non capisco un acca di olandese che ha qualche similitudine col tedesco e l'inglese... credo di capire che non vogliono intervenire... ma magari mi sbaglio..

sono angosciata e ritengo queste posizioni cosi "radicali" assurde quando si parla di ambienti cosi' antropizzati come i nostri. Preferisco l'interventismo di san francisco.

allo stesso modo non capisco l'atteggiamento della femmina belga... e per quanto il padre si occupera' dei piccoli da qualche parte ho letto al massimo un paio di giorni... e ora ci siamo.

se decidessero di non intervenire per salvare i pulli propongo un "mail bombing". io nel sito non ci vado. vi prego, cercate l'email dei gestori del sito internet e del nido e preparate una mail in inglese con traduzione in italiano, non lunga. poi io comincio la diffusione tra gli animalisti.
fatemi sapere.
