Peregrine Project Poland. Both birds come from breeding center in WLoclawek run at that time by Czeslaw Sielicki. Wars was reintroduced in a forest near Wloclawek, Sawa in Warsaw on the building of Warsaw Stock Exchange by Janusz Sielicki. They did not mate anybody else before. This is the first Polish breeding pair of Peregrines after DDT crisis and they are together all that time. They nested mostly on the same building - Palce of Culture and Science in Warsaw, except one year on another one, 500 meters away (Warsaw Financial Tower).
Warsaw Peregrines unfortunately will not have eggs this year.
They are really old birds - Wars - male - is 18 (born and released near Wloclawek in 1994) and Sawa - female - is 16 years old (born and released near Warsaw in 1996). They had altogether 20 chicks from 1999 until 2011, they raised additionally 6 chicks which they adopted when they did not have their own young or they died.
They are always close to the nest, so You can see them online at: http://webcam.peregrinus.pl/pl/warszawa ... z-warszawy
