‎02 October: PPO is edgy. When I went to say hello to her, PPO gave me the old 'evil eye stare' as if to say "Don't come anywhere near me or my nest". Counting down the hours I suspect...

2 ottobre: PPO è tagliente. Quando sono andato a dirle ciao PPO mi ha dato il vecchio 'sguardo malocchio' come per dire: "Non venire da nessuna parte vicino a me o al mio nido". Conto alla rovescia delle ore ho il sospetto ...

11 Oct: We were woken up with lots of hooting from Pappa and PPO on the balcony in the early hours of this morning. They kicked up such a racket - I half expected to see a chick. But alas - nothing yet so it looks like this time round, the eggs are not viable. Perhaps they will nest again this season.

11 ottobre: Ci siamo svegliati con un sacco di clacson tra Pappa e PPO sul balcone nelle prime ore di questa mattina, e quasi mi aspettavo di vedere un pulcino. Ma, ahimè - ancora niente e forse questa volta le uova non sono vitali. Forse si riprodurranno nuovamente in questa stagione.

12 Oct: A cold, wet day leaving a miserable-looking Pot Plant Owl drenched in her nest. Still, at least she has the little bush to help protect her from the rain.
Heads up to all viewers of the webcam: If there are no eggs by this Sunday 14th October, we have decided along with Africam, to switch off the webcam early next week. Some people may still want to see her sitting on the eggs, and those who watch in the early hours of our mornings here, may still want to see Pappa bring in food. However, we want to respect her privacy in the moment that she decides to abandon her eggs which may be distressing to viewers.
We still have about 60 hours before decision time, so fingers and toes crossed for a late hatching!

....abbiamo deciso di spegnere la cam all'inizio della prossima settimana se domenica 14 ottobre le uova saranno sempre intere così da rispettare la privacy di PPO quando deciderà di abbandonarle............abbiamo ancora 60 ore prima di questa decisione
