Dopo la battaglia territoriale tra Erie e l'intruso tutti speriamo che sia stato lui (Erie) il vincitore. Intanto la coppia è stata vista insieme e, per quanto sia impossibile al momento leggere le sigle degli anelli, il loro comportamento lo fa sperare ("I'm also pretty sure from just the way the 2 birds are inter acting that it's still Dorothy & Erie. No new courtship flying. We of course won't know for sure until they chicks are banded, when we're that close to them it's easy to read the bands." (Karen).
Anche perché Dorothy ha tranquillamente deposto il primo uovo.

Dicono che la madre è particolarmente aggressiva. Probabilmente è la mamma di SW (Cleveland), perciò non è affatto strano :!: :D
Comunque hanno dovuto catturarla per poter prendere i piccoli: 3 maschi e 1 femmina.

Oggi c'è stato il banding :D :D :D
"The banding went well except of course Dorothy was not happy at all. They did read her bands but Erie was flying around. I'm not sure if they got a good read on his bands because I had to leave early. Work always seems to get in the way....Rita you were right it's 2 girls and 2 boys. They also put the color tape on the wildlife band incase they get into trouble but I'm hoping for a trouble free fledge." Karen
