e per farli abituare l'entrata di questa rimarrà chiusa per un periodo. la coppia di falchi dovrebbe deporre presto quindi il tempo per spostare i barba è poco.
Fingers crossed
Quindi da oggi i nostri focosi barba dovrebbero avere una nuova casetta,We're planning a boat trip to Cobb to erect a barn owl box near the falcon nest tower. We'll move the egg to the new nest box. We'll then cover the entrance to the falcon nest for a few days to encourage the owls to cease their visitations. The falcon nest will then be uncovered to allow the falcons to re-enter and set up house. This falcon pair will lay soon so we have a short window to move the owls to a new home without disrupting the falcons. I think both species can co-exist on the island in their separate nest boxes.
Wish us luck!
