Here's Monty carrying out his paternal duties - Celyn the grateful recipient this time.
No sign of Glesni this morning but her cousin, Blue 24, is perching on the other platform on Cors Dyfi at the moment.

Very high tide this morning - must be something to do with that Supermoon!
We've not seen Brenig since Thursday - looks like he may have started his migration.
Blue 24 is still with us, as is Monty - taken on the larch perch at 09:05.

Blue24 seems seems to be courting Monty again and
has started defending his nest as if it were her own. -> MONTY
Re: Dyfi Osprey Project
https://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproj ... =1&theaterExactly a week ago, to the second, last Monday morning Glesni was perched on the larch tree. Moments later she was gone; we haven't seen her since.
Merin - last seen last Monday also
Celyn - last seen Thursday
Brenig - last seen Friday
Exactly a week on and, just like in previous years, Monty is our last osprey of the family on the Dyfi. He's also perched on the larch tree right now - by next Monday he'll be gone too.
In a week he has seen four of his family members leave for sunnier weather, three of them at the very start of their lives.
Every year, we treasure these last moments we have with Monty. Every year, we say our farewells to him in our own way.
Time is coming to say good bye to CHIEF MONTY
