18:45 Both boys on the nest eating a mullet in glorious sunshine!
A bittersweet day, we've just closed the project for 2012 which is always a bit sad. Thanks to you all for your kind comments - they really do mean a lot to us.
Alwyn finishes today but is staying on for a few days as a volunteer to look after the live camera and keep a track of the birds (diolch Al). I'm off to Scotland to see an old friend, so no daily updates from tomorrow onwards but I will be taking a laptop with me. If I get a wi-fi signal, I'll post an update but keep watching Google Earth, the live camera and comments by others on Facebook too.
Here's this week's blog..

18:45 Entrambi i ragazzi sul nido mangiano una triglia al sole! Un giorno agrodolce, abbiamo appena chiuso il progetto per il 2012 ed è sempre un po' triste. Grazie a voi tutti per i vostri commenti gentili - essi significano molto per noi.
Alwyn finisce oggi ma sarà qui per un paio di giorni come volontario a guardare il live della videocamera e tenere traccia degli uccelli (diolch Al). Io vado in Scozia a trovare un vecchio amico, così non ci saranno aggiornamenti quotidiani da domani in poi, ma avrò con me un portatile e se trovo un segnale wi-fi posterò un aggiornamento. Continuate a guardare Google Earth, la fotocamera live e i commenti di altri su Facebook.

grazie Daniela.......anche questa stagione è finita e la cosa mi rende un po' triste.....


ma grazie a tutti quelli che hanno contribuito ad aggiornarci e a seguire questo meraviglioso nido....


All'anno prossimo ai nuovi piccoli del 2013 !!
