Falchi pellegrini in Olanda (De Mortel): PA e S2

Buone notizie sempre da Froona.
Good news.
Both de Mortel chicks had a feeding of 4 minutes about 30 minutes ago.
It appears to be extremely cold up there with wind from the east blowing right into the nestbox.
That is probably why S2 stayed on the two and decided that protecting them was more important than first feeding. because after all they hev enough yolk in them to last for 12 hours. It could be a third one hatched in the meantime
Anyway the second eyas got his first feeding 6 hours after he was born.
She has a left over preyitem with her right beside her, so she does not have to leave both babies.
So i'm sure everything will turn out fine.
She is a tease our S2!

The second one was born around 13:00 and got his first food at 19:00 hours.
WE thought there was an awfull lot of tiem in between feedings.
But well S2, she is a real tease.
And a very good mother, so it will be OK.
Still 2 eggs not hatched.

Guardando gli orari, hanno mangiato per quasi un quarto d'ora!
Ne aggiungo soltanto qualcuna (almeno un pò di soddisfazione no?)
